Field Research Officer - NSW - Sydney

As a Field Research Officer at Roy Morgan, you will be working on one or many of our research projects. This means that you will be working in and around your community interviewing people on some of Australia’s most important research projects. Our field team are responsible for undertaking professional and accurate data collection (including observations and interviewing) of the public with neutrality. Of course, there is some administration as well to ensure all the records are accurate and up to date. We provide extensive training and support for all our staff as well as the necessary equipment to get the work done.

You need to be comfortable engaging with people from all walks of life - both in helping them understand the importance and benefits of participating in research studies. You will be able to enjoy the flexibility of working independently and managing your own workload. The more flexible you are to work, the more work we have for you!

To be considered for this opportunity, you :

• Enjoy engaging with, and able to relate to, people from diverse and different backgrounds and experiences
• Are professional, with a high level of integrity and possess mature social skills
• Are available to work 20+ hours per week or full-time hours, including weekdays and weekends
• Hold a valid driver’s licence, and access to a reliable, registered vehicle
• Willing to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check, paid for by Roy Morgan
• Have fluent English language proficiency (spoken and written English)
• Have a legal right to work in Australia
