About the RoleThe role is to ensure the provision of a high quality innovative educational program that meets the individual needs of the children aged from birth to 6 years and ensure that all interactions with the children are positive, respectful and friendly.Skills, experience and certificatesKnowledge of the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Law Act (2010), Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.Awareness of the cultural needs of families.Ability to manage time effectively.Ability to prioritise tasks.Ability to maintain written records and write reports relating to program goals and child development.Knowledge and understanding of mandatory Reporting requirementsDemonstrated ability to adhere to Banyule City Councils valuesCurrent, recognised First Aid and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates are essentialMandatory Pre-employment checksFunctional Capacity AssessmentPolice CheckWorking with Children's CheckHow to applyFor more information about this position please download a copy of the position description.
