HME Workshop - Heavy Diesel Fitter - Hail Creek Mine

Wisely are hiring Heavy Diesel Fitters to work at Glencore’s Hail Creek Mine, with excellent pay, great rosters, and full camp accommodation & meals provided.

About the Role :

You’ll be maintaining and repairing a fleet of Caterpillar and Komatsu haul trucks and ancillary mining equipment in a world-class, Tier 1 workshop.  Join a respected, long-standing business with over 30 years of experience delivering maintenance excellence across mining, ports and rail.

What We Are Looking For :

Qualified Diesel Fitters / Engineering Mechanical Trade

Minimum 3+ years post-trade experience

Strong fault-finding, component rebuild and workshop skills

CAT & Komatsu HME experience is highly regarded

A strong safety mindset and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Mine Location :

Hail Creek Mine  120km SW of Mackay (approx.1.5-hour commute)

Onsite permanent rooms, gym, wet mess, pool & sporting complex

Mandatory or Willing to Obtain :

Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical

Glencore Generic Induction

Base Rate $70.73 / Overtime $80 / hour

190 hours Annual Leave + 17.5% Leave Loading
