Job descriptionTertiary qualification in a related field is highly regarded. 3-5 years of experience in a similar or related role, ideally in the commercial sector Project management qualifications or accreditation with a recognised industry provider, or equivalent industry experience, e.g., SAFe, Agile, PmBOK, Prince 2 highly regarded. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, supporting executive-level reporting and communications. Working knowledge of project management tools, including MS Project, JIRA or similar. Leading equity-based technology group requires a permanent Senior PMO Analyst for their Sydney CBD office.
Reporting to the Head of Delivery, you will be a hands-on PMO and work with the Program teams, ensuring all functions of PMO are met.
On a daily basis you will :
- Work closely with senior executives and project teams to define and advise project objectives, scope, and requirements, and ensure that all stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and implement project management methodologies, tools, and templates to ensure consistency across all projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and partners.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery, and proactively develop and implement solutions to minimize their impact.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the PMO and implement improvements where necessary.
