NW Technology is partnering with a leading Defence provider to deliver a strategic Cyber Security Manager for a high-profile Federal program based in Canberra.
This pivotal role will see you lead cyber risk mitigation across cutting-edge Defence technologies, providing expert oversight on vulnerability management, supply chain security, incident response, and the evolution of SOC capabilities.
Location : Canberra-Based (Onsite) Clearance Level : NV2 Security Clearance Required Duration : 12-Month Contract with Extension Potential Key Responsibilities : Overseeing vulnerability assessments for hardware and software products Leading cyber supply chain risk management plan Driving SOC capability uplift and managing SOC teams Planning, executing, and reporting threat hunting initiatives Leading incident response planning and cyber operations Providing specialist ICT security advice across design, development, and testing phases Engaging with key Defence stakeholders and contributing to internal cyber awareness programs Key Skills : Strong background in ICT Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Expertise in vulnerability management, threat hunting, incident response, and SOC operations Experience with SIEM tuning, threat intelligence, and technical reporting Prior exposure to Defence or military environments highly desirable Familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, DevSecOps, SCAP / STIG / CIS standards is advantageous Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at NW Technology : At NW Technology, we are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
