Cyber Security Manager

Our client, a large Federal Government is seeking a Configuration Cyber Manager IT Specific tasks for the Configuration Manager will include, but are not limited to the following :

understand policies relating to Cyber Security (eg. PSPF, DSPF, ISM).support development of cyber security governance and assurance functions including technical controls.maintain awareness of cyber security threats and conduct security risk assessments as required by the IT Security Managerdevelop plans to mitigate cyber security risk and confirm compliance.develop ICT system monitoring and visibility capabilities and report on incidents, vulnerabilities.analyse and advise on security controls and procedures in acquisition, development, and change management lifecycle ICT systems to ensure compliance.represent cyber security engineering requirements to key government and commercial stakeholders.support the response to cyber security incidents.contribute to the development and administration of information security training and awareness programs.The resource will also be required to :

work onsite based in Canberra, ACTmanage and / or participate in formal meetings and working groups be prepared to provide specialist advice.operate in a flexible and agile way in support of a dynamic work area.engage with relevant stakeholders, identifying any gaps, risks, or issues.manage obstacles that may impede plans being successfully executed.Note that you must be Australian Citizen with NV1 Security Clearance.
