We are currently looking to support our client with a financially minded Project Manager who can manage a local civil / infrastructure project. Based centrally to the Perth CBD this role is the perfect balance between Resource & Budget Management to deliver the first large project for an emerging company backed by a successful wider group.
About the role :
- Project manager role - managing a blue collar workforce.
- Permanent Position with multiple metro based upcoming projects
- 150k - $190k per year plus Super based on experience
- Must have some Utilities, Infrastructure or Civil based background.
Role Remit :
Demonstrate commitment to HSEQ through, personal example, leadership and active participation in HSEQ processesAbility to manage to a lump sum contract, managing own costs and variations.Analyse all project management functions with the Construction Manager and relevant stakeholders to determine achievable project objectivesDevelop a project plan to integrate all project management functions to achieve outcomes and requirements for time, cost, quality and risk and obtain endorsement by Construction ManagerMonitor compliance with deadlines for project phases, approval points and review pointsReport progress against established project baselines to measure performance throughout the project life cycleReview ongoing project progress and record results to assess the effectiveness of project management procedures.Estimate project costs to enable budgets to be developed and implement agreed cost management processesSelect and use established quality management methods, techniques and tools to determine preferred mix of quality, capability, cost and timeMaintain a quality management system to enable effective recording and communication of quality issues and outcomes to a higher project authority and stakeholdersDevelop, within delegated authority, an agreed communications management plan to ensure clarity of understanding and achievement of project objectives throughout the project life cycleImplement and maintain agreed communication networks between project staff, client and other stakeholders to ensure effective communications at appropriate levels throughout the project life cycleInfrastructure and utilities experience desirable.AUSTRALIAN WORKING RIGHTs ONLY
