The role of the Clinical Care Team Leader is to provide and coordinate resident care, supervise care staff to ensure an effective, efficient and functioning team under the direct supervision of the Clinical Care Manager and General Manager. As a Senior RN, you will be required to lead and manage the clinical and allied health services under the direction of Clinical Care Manager. As a member of the clinical team, you will perform in accordance with legislation and practice within a professional and ethical framework.

The Clinical Care Team Leader is responsible for coordinating the assessment and evaluation of individual resident care within the scope of practice; to act as a resource for staff; perform competency assessments and have input into training of staff. The Clinical Care Team Leader will liaise with the Clinical Care Manager to ensure resident care outcomes are met.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure that the care and service is coordinated in accordance with the philosophy, policies and procedures of Regis Aged Care in line with scope of practice and other governing regulations.
• Lead and participate in the delivery of a high standard of person-centered resident care which includes :

Prioritizing the social, emotional, spiritual and recreational needs of all the residents and supporting care staff in working towards these needs.

Care plans updated and verified, ACFI commenced as scheduled,
