You will be working within the Reporting, Information and Digital Solutions with team and also responsible for accessing, retrieving and analysing Client's data for internal and external stakeholders and assisting with the integration of new data validation methods.
Use databases to access, retrieve, and analyze data to fulfill data requests from internal and external clients.Assist in the creation, production, and analysis of spatial maps and data reports in accordance with client requirements.Assist in the creation of procedures that will enhance the data validation of the client.Provide technical advice to commercial fishers and other clients on logbook and commercial fishing catch and effort in Queensland.Communicate effectively and promptly with internal and external clients to address their requests for data.Essential requirements for this roleProficiency in working with complex relational databases, preferably SQL, Microsoft Access will be considered.Data presentation skills, using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail.Effective communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a confidential environment.Utilises time efficiently by prioritising a broad range of tasks and focusing on key issues.If you are excited by the prospect of enjoying a highly rewarding and challenging role, please contact
