About the role
A brand new opportunity has arisen for a people-focused recruitment professional to join our national People & Development team as a Talent Specialist. This is a full-time, 12 month maximum term contract and the position can be based in either our Sydney or Canberra office. This newly created role will focus on recruitment for our rapidly growing Government group - a high-performing and collaborative national practice working with a wide range of public sector clients.
This opportunity will see you working closely with Partners and senior stakeholders across our national offices to source, attract and secure exceptional legal talent in order to continue growing our thriving Government teams. Some of the key responsibilities of this role will include :
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have previous in-house or agency recruitment experience with a specific focus on the Commonwealth / Federal Government legal sector. Together with your demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the public sector, you will be confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing hiring decisions. You will have strong organisational and time management skills, and the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities with ease. Your proactive mindset, can-do attitude and genuine interest in the public sector will be valuable, as will your ability to create meaningful relationships with candidates and other stakeholders. An existing network of Commonwealth / Federal government contacts will be viewed favourably.
