Job descriptionAre you searching for a career working outdoors in a great team environment? Do you enjoy gardens and horticulture?_ Join this exciting and expanding industry and gain your Certificate III in Parks & Gardens!_ With the support of qualified tradespeople, you will installing and maintaining plant displays cultivating turf installing irrigation and drainage controlling weeds, pests and diseases performing operational maintenance of machinery providing information on plants, products and treatments Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria Must have a genuine interest and commitment to work in the Landscaping Industry Hold a White Card or able to obtain ASAP Hold a current Drivers License and have own reliable transport Must be physically fit & able to work outdoors Be reliable, resilient, motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to take direction Benefits of doing your apprenticeship with ECA You will have a dedicated Field Officer assigned for full mentoring & support during your Apprenticeship as well as a full team of staff overseeing your apprenticeship, ensuring you only need to focus on your work and college. Genuine support for your personal wellbeing including access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) ECA has a large network of Host Employers looking to host enthusiastic apprentices and help them become trade qualified Modern Award rates apply
Please note, to be eligible you must be an Australian citizen, Permanent resident, or hold a valid visa that allows you to work and undertake training in Australia.
