Parks And Gardens Labourers

We are currently seeking several staff to work in the Parks and Gardens departments of various councils in the South West of Perth.

• TURF MAINTAINERS
• Working on various reservations and turfs you will be tasked with all facets of turf maintenance including but not limited to whipper snipping, mowing, edging, pruning, spraying
• Knowledge or proven experience in the industry, particularly with large scale operations such as golf courses or sporting venues is essential for this role
• IRRIGATION TECHNICIANS
• Maintenance and installation of irrigation services for small to large scale projects.
• Previous council experience in this field highly desirable for this role
• HORTICULTURALISTS
• Working in small teams you will be tasked with a range of beautification, maintenance and new projects spanning across the Kwinana and Rockingham areas
• A certificate in Horticulture with proven experience in Landscaping is essential for this role
• Essential Criteria
• National Police Clearance
• COVID-19 Vaccine Certificate
• Current 'C' Class Licence
• Able to pass pre-employment medical screening
• Landscaping, reserve and turf maintenance, or other such relevant experience
• Desirable Criteria
• MR or equivalent Licence
• Chainsaw / Polesaw Licence
• Traffic Management Licence
• Horticulturalist Certificate
• Construction Induction Training (White Card)
