As a

• Service Technician
• you will be responsible for ensuring timely and professional execution of planned services. You will also work with different internal teams to ensure we provide appropriate technical solutions to our customers.
• Key Responsibilities
• Technical
• Ensure all work and activity is carried out with Safety as a priority. Be resolute in identifying and proactively reporting potential safety issues within Emerson and within our customer organisation.
• Ensures timely and professional execution of planned service activities
• Work across the ANZ region as required to support Emerson's Solutions customers
• Act as a trusted advisor consultant to both Internal (Sales and Marketing) and external customers
• Collaborate across ANZ, AP and Global organisation to develop solutions and support Emerson Flow Solutions customers
• Respond to technical and commercial enquiries from customers and provide quotations / proposals as required
• Conduct and assist with training, sales calls, site walks, audits and roadshows
• Conduct analysis and research to gain a full understanding of the customer base and keep abreast of any changes to the market, competitors, technology and the industry in general
• Possess and continually develop technical expertise with specific emphasis on Technologies and Applications
• Customer Sales support
• Aid Sales and Marketing team in the development of Emerson products, systems and lifecycle services business
• Undertakes and / or escalates technical investigations in response to customer or department's requirements
• Win customer's confidence through excellent service.
• Conduct product demonstrations
• Aid the technical development of the Emerson Solutions Sales and Marketing team
• Administration
• Updating technical know how about product lines through own initiatives and company sponsored training
• Timely and accurate reporting (in CRM, Clarity and other as necessary) on a regular basis
• Key Requirements of the Role
• Tertiary engineering or technical qualification within instrumentation, process or automation fields highly regarded. Relevant practical experience considered
• Tertiary business or marketing qualification highly regarded. Relevant practical experience considered
• Has obtained and has a current Restricted Electrical Work License
• Quantifiable experience in developing demand, creating trusted advisor relationships and delivering value messaging of highly technical products, services and solutions.
• Fault finding, diagnostic skills for Rosemount instrumentation technologies - Pressure, DP Flow, Temperature, Liquid Analyzers, Process Level and DL Level
• Experienced in technical maintenance with process automation instrumentation
• Proactive and pragmatic approach to solving our customers service problems and absolute focus on delivering value
• Understanding of Emerson Flow range including Precision Flow technologies and Flow Systems and Solutions
