Aged Care Bus Driver - Volunteer

This rewarding volunteer role will see you driving our residents in a 14-seater bus 2-4 days a week to various locations including functions, lunch outings, shopping, or community events.

Our volunteer driver will have a calm, friendly and understanding manner and be able to assist the residents on and off the bus. You will have a safe driving record and an

• endorsed driver's license
• Light Rigid (LR) or above) that allows you to drive our 14-seater bus.

While many residents might otherwise miss out on contact with people within the local community, our bus driver provides this important link offering our residents the opportunity to stay connected. Volunteers get to share in first-hand personal stories and experiences from our resident's past while adding a new brightness to their present.

A Police Check and full Covid vaccination are mandatory. Following the conclusion of the legislative requirements, you will be introduced to our team for induction.
