Autoleague has an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Accountant / Senior Accountant who is looking to take the next step in their career.

About the Role : Based in one of our dealerships in Vic Park, you will be part of the team managing financial operations across multiple entities within our group, including a rural site in Albany. You will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day accounting functions and working closely with the management team to drive the dealership's growth and success.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for month-end processing, overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing valuable insights to support growth.

Your key responsibilities include : Financial Management : Oversee daily accounting functions including AP / AR, balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Cash Flow Management : Assist with daily cash flow management and forecasting to support operations effectively. Support year-end reporting and audits. Team Leadership : Lead and mentor the administration team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. You should have : Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, with 3+ years in an accounting / finance role. Working knowledge of the automotive industry. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Proficiency in all facets of accounts function up to trial balance / BAS returns. Highly analytical and organized with strong attention to detail. Advanced skills in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
