The Role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Accountant to join our finance team and support the continued growth of our business.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this position offers accountability across a broad range of responsibilities within both financial and management accounting areas. You will be hands-on and assist in producing timely and accurate monthly reports for the Group. This role provides opportunities to learn new skills across multiple disciplines, with training provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare journals to close monthly reporting periods
- Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts of Corporate entities
- Conduct monthly management reporting and forecasting, including budget and data analysis to support decision-making for the Corporate entities and departments
- Process intercompany recharges and transactions
- Prepare key reconciliations including intercompany, fixed assets, leases, bonds, and bank guarantees
- Assist in budget preparations and forecasting
- Support the Group's internal and external audits
- Perform treasury functions
The successful applicant will ideally have :
Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or related business fieldDesire to complete or currently studying towards an accountancy qualificationMinimum of 2 years of relevant accounting or finance experienceKnowledge of accounting regulations and practicesConstruction industry experience is an advantageExperience with JobPac and / or Dynamics 365 is an advantageStrong system skills, including proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExcellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to accept constructive feedbackAbility to manage multiple business units for financial reporting and complianceHigh attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure report qualityMotivated individual capable of meeting deadlinesAbout Us
