Sefton High School (enrolment 1090 including 95% from non-English-speaking background) is a co-educational, academically selective school with a parallel community stream intake. The school is characterised by a focus of high expectations of all students and staff. • Approval to teach English (7-12), English Extensions 1 & 2 and Society and Culture.
• Highly developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to build positive relationships with teachers, students, parents and the community.
• Ability to develop, implement and evaluate differentiated programs, resources and assessments that contribute to a culture of high expectations.
• Demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively within an experienced, cohesive faculty on whole school and faculty initiatives that meet the learning needs of a diverse range of students, including public speaking and debating.
