Job descriptionDelivering urgent care via telehealth to patients in remote locations Performing emergency retrievals and inter-facility transfers with Retrieval Services Queensland (RSQ) Coordinating taskings with RSQ, Duty Tasking Officers, and health facilities Supporting nurses and allied health professionals with clinical advice Participating in quality improvement activities, including audits and case reviews Ensuring accurate and timely medical records Respecting and embracing the cultural values of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities Cairns (live in, local roles) Mount Isa & Charleville (live in, local roles & FIFO roles from Brisbane) Cairns : 2 days + 2 nights per 4-week roster (0.25 FTE, non-FIFO) Charleville and Mount Isa : 3 days + 3 nights + travel per 8-week roster (0.25 FTE, FIFO) Statewide Network Support : Fill short-term vacancies across bases (FIFO) AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner Fellowship with ACEM, ACRRM, ANZCA, CICM, or RACGP (Senior Registrars welcome) Minimum 5 years post-grad experience, including at least 6 months in : Emergency Medicine Anaesthetics Intensive Care Additional experience in Paediatrics or Obstetrics is highly regarded Aeromedical experience is a bonus but not essential Competitive salary + superannuation Remote area / FIFO allowances (up to $53K live-in- Charleville & Mount Isa / $25K FIFO pro rata) Relocation support for Cairns, Charleville, or Mount Isa Six weeks annual leave + paid travel / administration time Salary packaging : up to $18,550 tax-free 10,000 professional development allowance (pro rata) Medical indemnity rebate + full training and induction
