The role The Information Officer provides comprehensive administrative support for the Ministerial and Executive Service Unit. Key to this position is to contribute to impovements to the correspondence work systems and manage, coordinate and action requests for information for the Minister for Health and the Diretor-General. Furthermore, you will assist in the maintenance of various Department of Health databases, document management and filing systems to ensure data integrity and that information can be easily identified, accessed and retrieved.
The successful personYou will have a high level of organisational skills, including an ability to manage high volumes of incoming and outgoing correspondence, and meet deadlines whilst keeping confidentiality and privacy principles. You have well developed communication and interpersonal skills which include the ability to liase, negotiate and consult with officers at all levels across the Department of Health. Furthermore, your ability to work as an effective team member to achieve goals of the work unit.
