Personal Care Worker

About This Role Kanda is currently seeking experienced support workers to join our community team in the Wollongong region of NSW to provide support and care to our clients in their homes.

Regular work hours are Monday to Friday, commencing at 8am. You will be required to assist clients with personal care requirements, domestic assistance (e.g., shopping, meal prep, light cleaning).

You will visit multiple clients at different locations during your shift.

This is a casual position with the possibility of becoming part-time. You will be paid for the full shift, including travel time between clients. A 99c per km travel allowance is included. Reporting to the Clinical Manager and guided by Registered Nurses, you will receive support throughout your work in the community care sector.

This position requires a reliable car and a full Australian driver's license.

You Will Need To Have Experience in an aged care facility, in-home support, or community role A customer-focused approach to your work Current Cert III in Aged Care, Individual Care, Disability, or Community Care Current First Aid certificate (with CPR updated annually) Manual handling certificate Your own reliable, fully insured, and registered vehicle Current driver's license Current police clearance certificate (within last 12 months) Current Working with Children Check Covid-19 Vaccination certificate plus booster (essential to work in aged care sector) If this sounds like the position for you, please apply online today!
