Qualified Greenkeeper

Joondalup Resort is seeking a qualified greenkeeper to join our team.

Joondalup Resort is a complete leisure, corporate and tourism venue in the northern suburbs of Perth, with award-winning facilities both on and off the golf course.

• Responsibilities include
• Help promote player satisfaction through quality maintenance and communication
• Thoroughly assist in all safety training needs and procedures
• Work with the superintendent and other maintenance team staff to constantly improve the golf course, club grounds, maintenance facility and safety programs
• General green keeping duties as instructed by course superintendent including all aspects of mowing, bunker raking and renovations, hand watering
• Planting of trees, mulching, tree removal, gardening
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of all machinery, including mowing equipment
• Assist with set up of golf course for completion of competition rounds and general play
• Pest / disease identification and control
• Irrigation system maintenance management
• Course renovations and maintenance including coring, Vert mowing, sanding, sand divots, mix sand, turfing areas
• Position specifications
• Knowledge of Operational Health and Safety practices
• Minimum of 2 years experience
• Valid drivers licence
• Experience and knowledge of golf course operations
• First aid and Cardiopulmanory resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Experience with driving tractor or mowing equipment
