- Job Summary
The Implementation Specialist (IS) will deliver a range of technical services and expertise to Intelerad's new and existing clients. They will travel to our clients' radiology practices as a visible representative of Intelerad, meeting with key personnel to implement our Enterprise Imaging Solutions. This includes evaluating client needs and developing configurations that support business processes, testing and troubleshooting system setups and facilitation and support of system go-lives. Ultimately, the Implementation Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that the purchased solution is operational and satisfies both client needs and the requirements of the sale.
Supervisory ResponsibilitesNoneDuties / ResponsibilitiesLiaise with clients to determine system configuration needsOversee project results on-site, ensuring clients achieve their desired outcomesIdentify and execute opportunities to optimise the client's overall imaging workflowConfigure and test Intelerad software to ensure it meets client workflow requirementsSet-up and test communications between Intelerad servers and DICOM devices such as modalities, workstations, printers, etc.Configure, test and maintain Clario HL7 integrationsVerify and support configurations implemented by other Intelerad teams such as PACS HL7 integrations and DICOM image flowVerify physical hardware setup and network connectivityAssist in the identification, documentation and resolution of software and workflow issues both on-site and remotelySupport the customer as they begin using their new workflow including some end-user training when necessaryWork with the Project Manager to document new installations and any changes to workflows (diagrams, records etc)Contribute to post-installation / post-upgrade debriefing meetings to share relevant information about architecture and any configuration changesOccasional travel within Australia and New Zealand to client locationsQualificationsRequired Experience / SkillsUnderstanding of HL7 and integration capabilitiesExperience with Linux command-line interface (navigation, viewing / editing files, troubleshooting network issues etc.)Experience with Windows Server / IIS administrationBasic knowledge of SQL databases (Sybase, postgresql, MS SQL)Previous experience with RIS and PACSAbility to travel regularly within Australia and New ZealandValid passport (or the ability to obtain one)Desired Experience / SkillsUnderstanding of DICOM and other imaging information technologiesExperience with medical imaging equipment (e.g. modalities, film printers, digitisers, high-resolution medical monitors, etc.)Experience working in projects and liaising with radiologists and senior managersDesired CompetenciesAbility to work and travel alone or as part of a teamExceptional verbal and written communication skillsWell presented and self-motivatedExcellent problem-solving skillsAble to stay current with the business and technologyBe energetic and autonomousPossess well developed organisational and time management skillsStrong technical aptitudeQuick and willing learnerAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesSuccess at managing a demanding customer base in a time sensitive fashionAbility to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic organisationThis job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties and the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.
