Sport Reporter

Based in our Perth office this 12month maxterm Sport Reporter contract role 3 days a week) will see you out in the field at training sessions press conferences and live matches. A flexible cando attitude is a must sports news doesnt stick to a 95 and neither does this role. Weekend work is expected. If you live and breathe sport and thrive in a team environment this is your dream gig. Youll work closely with the News Director Sports Editor and wider newsroom to deliver toptier sports coverage.

Day to day you will :

• Proactively identify and pitch engaging stories across local national and international sport.
• Stay across breaking news trends and social media to deliver timely and relevant content.
• Generate creative storytelling ideas for both television and digital platforms.
• Work efficiently under pressure to meet tight daily deadlines.
• Build and maintain a strong network of sports industry contacts
