Procurement and Contract AdministratorsLocation : Canberra, ACTContract length : 6 Month Contract with an extension optionHourly Rate : NegotiableFirst Grade are currently seeking an ICT Procurement and Contract Administrator for our Federal Government client. Ideally, an experienced Procurement Officer with some ICT procurement experience.
Under direction from the ICT Contracts Manager, you will undertake ICT contract administration and procurement tasks, assisting in financial administration and reporting of ICT expenditure. The role requires good judgment and decision-making skills and self-motivation, with the successful applicant needing to have a strong focus on service delivery.
- Undertake and / or oversee routine ICT contract administration
- Undertake and / or oversee routine ICT procurement of hardware and software, services, warranty and support agreements in accordance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and the agency's policies
- Assist in complex contract administration and ICT procurement processes
- Prepare documentation relevant to ICT procurement and contract administration
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders with respect to procurement and contracting administrative matters
- Assist in the monthly reconciliation, tracking, reporting, variance adjustments and accruals
- Work proactively and collaboratively to resolve problems and achieve business outcomes
- Assist in IT equipment disposal processes
- Engage in knowledge transfer within the team and across the section
