Reporting to the ICT Procurement Team Leader, the ICT Procurement Officer will work within the centralised ICT Procurement Section, IT Workplace, Environment and Customer Support Branch, Technology and Services Division, undertaking the procurement of ICT goods and services including software, hardware, services and contractors on behalf of the department and its client / portfolio agencies.

The successful applicant will need to be motivated, well organised, have demonstrated strong administration skills, and ideally experience working within a procurement environment. A working knowledge of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, and broader Commonwealth Procurement Rules and policies, or the ability to quickly acquire this, is a requirement.
