We are currently looking for an NV1 cleared ICT Procurement Officer to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful person will undertake simple and complex ICT procurement activities to support deliverables and projects, while assuring compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules.

What will I be doing day to day?Manage acquisition and disposal of configuration items (both software and hardware), in consultation with the Program Management, engineering and work streamsPrepare and draft relevant procurement documentation to support both simple and complex ICT Hardware / Software procurementsCollate, organise and present current and predicted procurement activity data from across the environment to support organisational decisionsCreate and maintain the software asset management register, and manage physical asset returns and departure of resourcesProvide assistance to the Business Intelligence Manager for non-material procurement as requiredLiaise confidently with internal Defence stakeholders regarding procurement activities, and work collaboratively to support efficient work processesSupport the Director, Deputy Director and Business Intelligence Manager with ad hoc dutiesWhat sort of skills do I need?Procurement & Contract Management Diploma or related DegreeDemonstrated experience as an ICT Procurement Support Officer, or similar roleDemonstrated experience delivering procurement support to executive level staff in a Government DepartmentExperience with IT Service Management Frameworks, such as ITILExperience in Software Asset ManagementSound skills in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel and PowerPointHighly effective written skills to support documentation and communication requirementsAbility to work effectively in an agile team environmentAustralian citizenship and an NV1 clearance as a minimumWhat's in it for me?FlexibilityWe like our employees to have the flexibility they need to live the lives they choose.
