  • The Opportunity

    • DECJUBA is on a mission to be Australia's most responsible fashion label, and the Head of Sustainability will lead the execution of the business' sustainability strategy to achieve this aim over time. Strategy pillars and priority focus areas include our products and packaging, our supply chain partners and practices, customer and team member engagement, our impact on the environment, and our community connection (via the DECJUBA Foundation).

    The Head of Sustainability is the face of sustainability at DECJUBA, with a passion and will to drive this message throughout the business and engaging the team at every level. Being responsible for the on-going development, management, and implementation of DECJUBA's sustainability strategy and agenda and is pivotal in understanding how DECJUBA has an impact on the world around us through business practice, measured through the achievement of published sustainability targets.

  • Responsibilities
  • Lead the on-going development, management, and Implementation of DECJUBA's Sustainability strategy
  • Lead the sustainability conversation and narrative (with the CPO) about sustainability at DECJUBA, internally and externally
  • Provide technical support, education, and business development, ensuring sustainability is integrated seamlessly into all elements
  • Establish the Sustainability program delivery structure in line with governance requirements, providing clear direction in relation to program delivery to ensure
  • key milestones are delivered in line with agreed timelines
  • Deliver timely reporting to CPO and Board in relation to program delivery
  • Champion consistency and transparency, ensuring DECJUBA'S core sustainability commitments are maintained and ultimately exceeded.
  • About You
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in same or similar senior leadership roles - preferably in fashion with sustainability / CSR leadership experience
  • Transformation-focused leader - demonstrated experience in leading change is essential
  • Ability to flex between strategy and execution is key, with proven experience in turning thought into action
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
