This approach reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering excellence and providing opportunities for development, while ensuring that our leadership team remains dynamic and aligned with our school's strategic goals.The RoleThe role of the Deputy Head of Campus - Head of Operations is to work collaboratively with the Head of Campus to lead the Campus Operations Team and to inspire a sense of purpose and direction through leading the implementation of the strategic agenda of the campus in line with the Vision, Purpose and Values of the School.

As part of the Campus Leadership Team this role champions strategic system thinking, leading the way in streamlining operations by aligning integrated processes, enhancing cross-campus collaboration, and maximising the impact of resource allocation.

Playing a key part in stakeholder communication, event coordination, and continuous improvement, the Head of Operations strives to drive a safe, engaging, and future-focused environment for students and staff.This is a full-time, 5-year fixed term Position of Responsibility commencing 1 January 2026.If you are an experienced operational leader with a talent for strategic thinking, systems alignment, and inspiring high-performing teams, we encourage you to apply and help shape the future of our campus operations.Key selection criteriaTertiary qualifications (postgraduate qualifications desirable).Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or valid WWCC.Experience as a teacher desirable but not essential, or experience and understanding within an educational environment preferred.Experience leading and fostering a collaborative, inclusive, trusting culture.Extensive experience in supporting a high performing workplace that leads to positive impacts and outcomes.Experience in leading or managing a team, including goal setting, overseeing performance and providing constructive feedback and recognition.High-level planning, organisation and decision-making skills.Extensive experience in building strong relationships with and managing multiple stakeholders, including staff.A responsive and relationship-focused leader who fosters a positive and collaborative environment.Alignment to Caulfield Grammar School values.Refer to the Position Description for detailed information on the responsibilities, skills, and experience required for this role.Why Caulfield Grammar SchoolCaulfield Grammar School is an internationally recognised, independent, co-educational school committed to providing exceptional educational opportunities from Early Learning through to Year 12.
