- About You
We are looking for
- Mandarin speaking Disability Support Workers
- that are warm, friendly, respectful and willing to learn. Someone who truly cares for the clients, is willing to listen and to help them achieve their full potential. An ability to build strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders is a must, as is the genuine desire to provide the best quality support for people with disabilities.
- Responsibilities
- Provide individual support services and direct care for people with disability and mental health issues.
- Support the client in community participation programs
- Provide accurate and detailed incident reports, progress notes and shift handovers
- Supporting with Domestic activities and assistance with personal care
- Manual handling including hoist transfers - manual, electric / assisted standing
- Medication assistance
- Assist with meal preparation
- Willingness to work with individuals with complex behaviours of concern
- Maintaining records of client progress
- ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT
- ADVANTAGEOUS if you have experience working in mental health sector and handling clients with Behavior of Concerns
- MUST have your own car and comprehensive car insurance
- Full and Clean Australian Driver's License
- International Police Check (if applicable)
- Qualification or Studying Disability
- First Aid Level 2 (current)
- CPR (current)
- NDIS Worker Screening check
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate or Immunisation evidence is required

- Intellectual, Psychiatric ( bipolar ) : 1 year (required)
