Join us in our mission to promote biodiversity, conserve our valuable ecosystems, and provide engaging attractions that connect people with nature.THIS POSITION IS BASED IN KENSINGTONAPPLICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION CLOSE ATMIDDAY ON TUESDAY, 18 FEBRUARY 2025The People and Culture Branch provides a full range of people management services to support the business objectives of the Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions, which includes the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority, Rottnest Island Authority, and Zoological Parks Authority.The Branch has the following operational sections, each responsible for key branch outputs : Employee Relations and Planning, Health, Safety and Wellbeing, Recruitment and Establishment, and Workforce Services.We currently have an opportunity for an Injury Management Officer to join our Health, Safety and Wellbeing team.In this position, you will : Coordinate the planning, development, promotion, implementation, and evaluation of injury prevention and injury management initiatives and programs.Ensure consistency in the implementation of the injury management framework.Manage a portfolio of workers' compensation claims and support employees through the injury management process.At the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA), we have adopted Leadership Expectations which provides a common understanding of the mindsets and expected behaviours required of all our employees and the public sector.
