The Intake and Community Engagement Officer is often the first point of contact for new clients and a key connector between the clinic and the wider community.
This role requires a unique blend of interpersonal warmth, attention to detail, and initiative.You will manage the intake and onboarding process with empathy and efficiency, ensuring that clients feel welcomed and well-informed.
You'll also foster meaningful connections with local referrers, community organisations, and the public to help promote access to quality psychological care.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Intake & OnboardingRespond promptly and compassionately to new client enquiries via phone, email, or webConduct initial intake screenings to understand client needs and match them with the appropriate clinicianManage client onboarding, including consent forms, service information, and appointment coordinationMaintain accurate client data and communication logs in the practice management systemCoordinate with clinicians and administrative staff to optimise schedules and waitlist flowCommunity Engagement & OutreachDevelop and maintain positive relationships with referrers (GPs, schools, allied health, etc.
