About the role
Project Coordinator – Tomago BESS Construction Project
Location : Melbourne, VIC
Project Site : Newcastle, NSW
Type : Full-time, Flexible, hybrid role with some travel to Newcastle, NSW required.

At AGL, we’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support the delivery of the Tomago Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) construction project.
Based in Melbourne, you’ll play a key role in keeping the project team organised, informed, and on track to achieve our renewable construction projects.
What you will be up to :
Coordinate project meetings, stakeholder workshops, and Steering Committees.
Maintain project documentation, electronic filing systems, and document control.
Track invoices, raise purchase orders, and manage reporting inputs.
Liaise with internal teams (Legal, H&S, Environment, Procurement) and external stakeholders.
Organise travel, accommodation, and catering for project team members.
Support the implementation of project governance frameworks and lifecycle plans.
Assist with formatting reports, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
Who are you :
You’re a skilled project administrator with a passion for project coordination and stakeholder engagement. You enjoy a fast-paced environment and know how to keep things running smoothly.
You’ll bring :
Experience in project or risk support, ideally on large or complex projects.
Fantastic organisational and time management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies (desirable but not necessary).
You have supported multiple external and internal stakeholders.
