Noosa Hospital is seeking a flexible, highly organised, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Admin Assistant working in our Preadmission Clinic & Day Procedure Unit on a Permanent part-time basis.
The successful applicant must be very customer focused and be able to work a flexible roster between 07.00 am - 05.00 pm, Monday to Friday. The position will be rostered for a minimum of 60 hours per fortnight (8 shifts).
This position is responsible for all administration tasks in our Preadmission Clinic & Day Procedure Unit, supporting the clinical staff in this area. Tasks include scheduling patients, chart preparation for both clinics and admissions, welcoming patients, compiling discharge medical records and general admin duties.

- Be highly committed to providing excellent customer service outcomes for all patients, visitors and doctors
- Previous experience in a Medical admin environment
- Proven organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks
- Demonstrated proficiency in Patient Management / Practice Management systems
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Desirable Requirements
- Experience in Microsoft Applications
- Experience with Meditech

- Remuneration
Remuneration will be based on experience level + superannuation.
