Are you passionate about Indigenous health, cultural safety, and education? Do you want to be part of a team shaping the future of population health through a culturally informed lens?

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill a vital role within our School, providing essential support to facilitate cultural awareness in Aboriginal research and academia. This successful applicant will lead our school’s Indigenous Cultures and Health Behaviours unit which is taken by all commencing students in the Faculty of Health Sciences.

The School of Population Health has a strong reputation for supporting Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander students within the Faculty of Health Sciences , reflecting our strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and Indigenous student success. We are seeking an Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander academic who is passionate about fostering culturally safe learning environments and supporting students throughout their educational journey.

In this role, you will :

The School of Population Health offers a wide range of health-related disciplines, including Psychology, Nutrition and Dietetics, Health Economics and Data Analytics, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, and Health Promotion.

We are looking for a candidate with a background in any of these areas who can contribute meaningfully to our teaching and learning activities. A developing or established research profile relevant to your discipline will be highly regarded.
