We are seeking a proactive
WHS Compliance Officerto play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and safety of our campus operations.This position is perfect for individuals with strong facilities management knowledge, contractor compliance experience, and a collaborative spirit.
What You'll DoCompliance ManagementOversee contractor certifications and collaborate with teams to address maintenance incidents while developing operational systems for effective O&M activities.Safety and AuditingConduct audits to ensure contractors meet safety standards and coordinate with stakeholders to minimise operational disruptions.Permit and Approval ProcessManage permit approvals for maintenance and act as Permit Manager for tenant-related activities.CollaborationLiaise with the PF&D Commercial and Health and Safety teams to facilitate approvals for tenant maintenance and minor works.About YouExperience in facilities compliance and contractor management.Strong knowledge of facilities management and compliance regulations such as Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA), Work Health and Safety Regulations 2022 (WA) and subsidiary documents such as standards and Codes of Practice.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to interpret and explain complex guidelines and procedures.Attention to detail with strong organisational skills.Work RequirementsFull working rights in Australia.Valid White Card.A level of fitness commensurate with the requirements of the position.Ability to travel to other campuses as required.Ability to work outside normal working hours when required.This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the campus community by facilitating a safe, secure and engaging environment for our students and staff to thrive in.
