About The Role

Country Arts SA is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Operations Manager to join our team at the Middleback Arts Centre, Whyalla on a temporary basis. This role is to backfill a position due to an employee taking parental leave.

The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Middleback Arts Centre Centre across all operational and delivery elements of the venue. Reporting to the Country Arts SA Arts Centre Leader, the Operations Manager will manage the venue team to ensure the venue operates at best practice level with exceptional customer service standards.

A contract position of up to 18 months will be offered on a starting salary of $85,790 pro-rata (0.8 FTE).

Essential

• Requires a current First Aid Certificate
• Requires a Responsible Service of Alcohol Training Certificate and Badge
• Hold a current Australian Driver’s License
• Essential requirements for this position include the ability to work regular out of hours work and generally be available for all activities occurring within the Theatre
• The successful applicant will be required to consent to a Working with Children Check.

Special Conditions

Frequent out of hours work and occasional intrastate travel may be required.
