We are seeking an experienced Change Communication Specialist to join a large NSW government organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fun team to develop and execute communication plans to support change delivery on a 12 month contract based in Sydney CBD / work from home.
About the RoleSupport the delivery of change by engaging our leaders and supporting them to own and drive change within their teams.Create, implement and manage key communication activities aligned to the business objectives for the project or program of work.Develop communication collateral and messages to defined target audiences to maximise employee adoption and minimise resistance to change, in partnership with change managers, project teams and business stakeholders.Contribute to change strategy and provide advice and guidance on ensuring the communication approach adopted is appropriate for the target audiences.Partner with and develop strong relationships with representatives from People & Culture, change and project management, to ensure coordinated efforts with managing communications, and embedding change with impacted stakeholders.Work closely with People and Culture to help build leader capability to enable them to own and drive change within their teams.Collaborate with and develop strong relationships with communications peers to ensure strategies and messaging is consistent with the communication strategies, and is reinforced through multiple avenues to increase adoption.Develop and deliver messaging using a variety of tools, tactics and channels, including website and intranet content, video, events, newsletters, FAQs, presentations, briefs and talking points.Identify and address potential communication issues, and opportunities, which may have an impact on business stakeholders, and implement solutions to achieve the best outcome.Implement appropriate measurement and reporting to track engagement and impact of communication plans, tactics and channels and use insights to continually improve.About YouTertiary level qualifications (at degree level) in communications, business or a related discipline, or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through practical experience.Strong project management experienceDemonstrated experience developing change communications strategies and products.Experience working with a variety of stakeholders ranging in from front line staff to executivesBenefits of contracting through Ashdown People5th largest supplier to the NSW GovernmentGet paid weeklyOffer Insurances for ABN ContractorsConsistent communication & transparencyDetailed onboarding & support
