To succeed in this position you will ideally possess the following skills :

• Completion of a recognised course in ICD-10-AM Clinical Coding, Case-mix and related activities.
• Clinical coding experience desirable including exposure to a variety of medical and surgical specialties.
• Excellent people skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
• A commitment to high quality medical records management.
• The scope of this position will include clinical coding and administrative tasks within the Health Information Services department across both campuses.- Staff have access to supportive staff mentoring, education and development programs. The successful applicant will be required to provide a current satisfactory Police Check.-
