Nutanix VMware Infrastructure Engineer NV2Job Description : Australian Citizens with NV2 Clearance and previous defence experience preferred.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication, organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Experience with Defence Deployed systems.This role will work within the SEA2273 Sub-Program of the Warfighting Networks and Applications Support Organisation (WSO), ICT Delivery Division, Chief Information Officer Group, Department of Defence.

The HCI Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to :

Designing, building, and supporting VMware and Nutanix Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI).Supporting, managing, and patching Microsoft OS and enterprise products.

Integrating complex ICT infrastructure software and applications.

Analyzing, logging, tracking, and resolving complex issues related to Windows servers and integrated applications.Assisting with development and build defect remediation.

Developing, maintaining, and running automated test scripts.

Creating and peer-reviewing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation, build guides, and related artifacts.Collaborating closely with Test, Engineering, and Support teams.

Demonstrated experience working in Defence as a Nutanix HCI Infrastructure Specialist.Experience in operating system patching and application deployment.Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.Strong knowledge of :

VMwareMicrosoft WDS and WSSUSMicrosoft Active DirectoryKnowledge of ITIL best practices and ISO Quality Standards.
