Job Description
The National Account Manager responsibilities include :
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets within the FMCG industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, particular with food distributors
- Work closely with the logistics team to ensure products are delivered to distributors
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce cost
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Track sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
- Manage budgets and negotiate contracts in alignment with company policies.
The Successful Applicant
The National Account Manager should have :
- Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within the FMCG industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build client relationships.
- Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in analysing market trends and data to inform decision-making.
- Experience with CRM tools and sales tracking systems.
- Adaptability and a results-driven mindset.
