Our team has the expertise and resources to handle every aspect of the job.We are currently recruiting Commercial Cleaners on an ongoing basis_The purpose of the position is to clean the customer's site to the required standard, at the frequency specified and within the timeframe set for the task. In performing this role, the incumbent shall ensure that they comply with the company's Rules and Regulations, OHS environmental and quality policies and procedures._Weekly Hours RequiredMonday to FridayKey ResponsibilitiesMopping floors and cleaning up spillsSweeping and vacuumingWiping and dustingCleaning windowsCleaning toilets and toilet facilitiesPolishing (by hand or machine)Decanting of cleaning chemicalsOperation of cleaning equipmentMoving stock and equipment on siteInforming the Area Manager or Site Supervisor if the stocks of consumables are running lowEmptying rubbish receptacles, replacing bin liners, and disposing of the bagged waste in the correct location.Emptying recycle receptacles, replacing bin liners and disposing of the recyclable waste in the correct location.Removing litter and debris from external areas of the site.Recording any communications regarding the client, quality, equipment, or after-hours messages(to the Area Manager or Site Supervisor) in the Communications Register.Maintaining site security applicableProvide Customer ServiceAny other tasks as requiredUse the equipment on-site properly, and safely and maintain it in good order. This will entailUsing the equipment within its capabilities and intended uses (i.e. as per the Site Supervisor or Area Manager's instructions)Treating the equipment with care (e.g. removing power cords from the power outlet by the plug, not the lead)Visually check the condition of the equipment before use (e.g. for cord damage or that it has a current test tag that is current)Promptly prevent the use of faulty or suspected dangerous equipment and inform the Site Supervisor or Area manager as soon as possibleCleaning equipment after useSign in via the Client's digital sign-in systemEnsure safe work practices are used on site byUsing and storing the cleaning chemicals in accordance with the material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and in the manner demonstrated by the Area Manager or Site SupervisorComplying with any site-specific Work Practices relating to emergency procedures or spill clean-upEnsuring you understand the companies' WHS policies and proceduresPromptly report any unsafe working conditions to the Site Supervisor or Area manager as soon as possible.To be successful in this role, you must haveAbility to work autonomously and in a team environmentGood communication and interpersonal skillsUnderstanding of OHS requirementsAttention to detailOur culture embraces diversity across our workforce and we encourage everyone to apply.
