- Key Responsibilities
This position is responsible for the cleaning and general upkeep of >
600 Accommodation Rooms, Village and / or Minesite facilities. That areas are kept clean, orderly, and properly always maintained. Ad hoc support to the Village Team is occasionally required.
Duties include :
- Ensure that the designated work, service and living areas are held to a high standard of cleanliness
- Follow Cleaning Policies and Procedures
- Achieve completion targets within allocated timeframes, respond to timely ad-hoc cleaning requests
- Housekeeping of Residents rooms within the Village environment as per schedule; stripping and making beds, removing, and replacing linen / towels, cleaning ensuites and all ablutions
- Minesite Cleaning of Site offices and facilities, crib rooms and all ablutions
- Appropriate storage and use of Chemicals
- Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials / consumables levels, assist with EOM stock take audits
- Laundry duties such as removal and replacement of linen / towels, sorting, folding and storage
- Notifying the Supervisor of any maintenance requests / issues required within the Village / Site
- Assist other departments from time to time, if required
- About You

You will possess :
- VALID C Class License (_mandatory_)
- Australian Working Rights
- Ability to pass a comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Fit Testing, Functional Testing and Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
- Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
- Previous experience at a Minesite Village experience _(desirable)_
- The following experience / qualifications with First Aid, Certificate III / IV Commercial Cookery or Hospitality, HR License, PDT Authorisation, HRWL (LF), RSA / Approved Manager, ARO Certification and Cleaning _(desirable)_
Additionally, you will also possess the following skills :
- Basic Systems and Technology experience i.e., iClean, MS Office, online / web-based Payroll & Training requirements
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task and adapt to changing work tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work autonomously, be a self-motivator and respond to requests in a timely manner
- Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace, with excellent customer service skills
- Have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others
