The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) is Australia's national criminal intelligence agency. We advise senior decision makers on serious and organised crime impacting Australia. About the branchThe Finance Property and Procurement Branch provide critical services for the agency and the AIC. The Branch requires a wide variety of skills and experience in order to provide the following functions :
Budget management and reporting e.g. input to portfolio budget statements, management reportingFinancial reporting e.g. monthly and annual financial statementsFinancial operations e.g. accounts payable and receivable, cash managementTaxation, travel and credit card servicesBusiness support e.g. fleet, mail, stationery, office servicesNational property projects e.g. fitouts, relocationsProcurement servicesLanguage services (linguists)About the roleThe Assistant Manager Property helps lead the development and implementation of the agency's property strategy while also overseeing leasing and fitout projects.
There will be some interstate travel associated with this role.
Will have experience in a senior property role, including experience in delivering capital works projects within Government and the ability to supervise a property management team in the delivery of services.Demonstrates highly-developed interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills to a high standard.Displays well-developed analytical skills and a proven ability to use a positive and proactive approach to problem solving.Exercises sound judgement, a high level of initiative, flexibility and the ability to set the direction for a team.Will have excellent organisational and time management skillsEligibilityUnder section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the APS, unless the agency head has agreed otherwise, in writing.
