Role Overview Our client is seeking a detail-oriented data analyst to join their Finance team and play a key role in the preparation of year-end financial statements. You will support the Finance and Procurement teams by providing expert data analysis services to assist in preparing the Procurement Reporting for the 30 June Financial Statements.

Your responsibilities will include extracting and analyzing large datasets from the general ledger and procurement systems, identifying and reconciling discrepancies between financial and procurement data sources, classifying and presenting contract expenditure, documenting procedures, and maintaining audit-ready records supporting financial statement disclosures.

Qualifications Proven experience in data analysis and modeling, ideally within large commercial or government environments. Advanced proficiency in tools such as Microsoft SQL , Excel , and other data analysis software. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills when working with large, complex datasets. Tenacity to investigate and resolve data variances.
