Join an established, multi-disciplinary engineering firm in the Sydney CBD hiring an experienced Structural Engineer to lead high profile building projects across Sydney.

This is a chance to join an expanding business with future opportunity of equity and reaching Director status.The firm has 50 staff across multiple engineering disciplines and a structural engineering team of 20 engineers and drafters.

It is imperative you have local Australian / NSW professional experience as a structural engineer and project leader, ideally within a Tier 1 consulting firm.The Opportunity : As an Associate Director, building structures engineer you will be expected to : Motivate, encourage and drive the development of technical excellence in structural engineering.Lead the provision of structural engineering advice and support by building effective relationships and partnerships both internally and externally.Enable and drive collaborative, expert building structures engineering innovation to deliver projects within budget and schedule.Ensure delivery of contemporary, economical, safe and innovatively designed structural engineering solutions that align with statutory and legislative requirements and actively support compliance with relevant national quality and safety standards.Project Manager and lead structural design projects.Manage client relationships.About You : Extensive experience in the provision of structural engineering services and associated technologies.Demonstrated project and team leadership experience.A highly collaborative approach to delivering major Building Structures projects.Experience using software : SPACE GASS, RAPT, ETABS and RAM Concept.Experience building a lateral model from scratch or review / verify a lateral model in detail.A four-year civil or structural engineering degree from an Australian university or equivalent overseas qualifications.Chartered engineer status highly desirable.Salary and Benefits : A base salary of between $160,000 - $190,000 is expected for the suitable applicant with future opportunity of equity and reaching Director status.Please apply now to be considered for this position or contact Simon Bloom - on 1300 AUSJOB (1300 287562) to discuss further.About Us : ConstructEng Australia are established market leaders in Construction and Engineering recruitment.
