Job descriptionCleaners Food Services Assistants for Aged Care and Education Facilities across Western Australia. What this Cleaner role involves Clean and sanitize all areas of residential facility as required Collect and remove domestic waste Follow established cleaning procedures to ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards Follow all safety and security protocols while working Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and efficiently Respond to cleaning requests from staff in a timely and professional manner What this Food Service Assistant role involves Work within the kitchen areas of the Aged Care Facility, assisting with food preparation and providing catering services to residents Adhere to set polices and procedure around dietary needs and requirements during meal preparation for residents Comply with all relevant food safety procedures on a daily basis Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, ensure the use of correct uniform and PPE at all times Observe all statutory health and hygiene regulations and report all safety hazards Provide food that is wholesome, nutritious, well-presented and appropriately served You will need Previous experience as a cleaner / food service assistant within aged care facilities NDIS Clearance - highly advantageous Basic food hygiene knowledge National Police Clearance within 12 months 2x Covid-19 Vaccinations + 1 Booster and Flu Vaccination (or willing to obtain) Understanding of OHS legislation Friendly and caring personality Ability to work within a team or unsupervised Good verbal and written communication skills Must have reliable transport to get to and from sites What now?
