45.70 – $50.80 / hr + On Call Allowance $24.30 / dayThe Practice / Business Manager will oversee the daily operations ensuring efficient and effective management and compliance of resources, services and staff.
It will suit a person with strong leadership skills and an interest in managing and assisting our valued team in navigating the continual advances in the medical service industry.This position is 30 hours per week over 5 days.
The On Call Allowance is paid in light of being available to respond to occasional queries and staffing issues (using the work mobile phone) during normal operating hours (and as you are able).
You are not expected to return to work outside of your ordinary hours.This position has become available as Fulham GP is investing further in management roles by creating an additional position.
Following your orientation period, the current Practice Manager will transition to the newly created Reception Manager position, and you will work closely together in practice administration.Qualifications : Minimum of 3 years of experience in GP healthcare management or a similar role.Desirable - AAPM Fellowship or Certified Practice Manager, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Specialising in Health, Healthcare Management, Human Resources or a related field.Reports To : PrincipalsStrong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance.Excellent leadership, communication, time management and interpersonal skills.A drive to lead by example with a positive, empathetic and motivating attitude.An ability to support clinical excellence and financial stewardshipAn ability to collaborate with and implement goals and visions of the Principals.An ability to oversee site and operational management.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assist the team in developing effective solutions to issues while supporting the team in adapting to new demands.Proficiency in Human Resource management including in recruitment processes.Proficiency in Medicare and reconciling patient accounts and debt management.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.Understanding of Best Practice, Cubiko and Automed Systems medical software.Extensive experience in medical practice management.You will be working in an environment with excellent facilities and an existing comprehensive established business structure.Working alongside a very supportive management team including Principals, Finance Manager, Reception Manager, Nurse Manager and Senior Receptionist.On Call Allowance and Right to Disconnect.Extensive orientation and training for the position provided.Fulham GP has won "Practice of the Year" and is fully accredited.Free street parking.How to Apply : Interested candidates should submit a cover letter stating their qualifications and previous experience specific to this Practice / Business Manager role, along with a resume with at least two professional referees (including contact details).
