- About the role
Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to :
- Assist with area clear-outs including removal of lawns, greenwaste and other hardscape materials;
- Assist with hardscape and landscape installation such as paving, paths, retaining walls, edging and creative features such as dry creek beds, bee hotels, lizard logs;
- Assist with garden bed preparation including soil mounding and rotary hoeing;
- Assist with other related light construction / handyperson jobs such as fence repairs, painting, building steps etc;
- Assist with planting and garden maintenance
- About you
Beginners who are passionate in this field are encouraged to apply! As a part of the role, you will be trained by qualified professionals for your training.
- Generally interested in Landscaping and committed to complete your Apprenticeship, including Tafe studies
- A genuine interest to create a career in the landscape and gardening industry
- Enjoy working in a physical outdoor environment in different garden and landscape locations throughout Perth and the metropolitan area
- Other duties as required
- Requirements
- Class C driving license
- Physically fit for manual labour
- Positive, can-do attitude
- A team player
- To be considered for this role, you must meet the criteria listed below;
- Current National Police Check; less than 12 months
- Valid drivers licence and reliable transport
- Eligibility to work in Australia; No working holiday visa holders
