We are seeking a
- Quality Controller
- to join our team at
- Erskine Park.
- The Opportunity
- The Quality Controller will be the final point of contact to ensure the service work, accessories and items on service order is checked and completed prior to being despatched with high quality and a standard that reflects customer satisfaction.
- Further, as a high level overview : _
- Check reports to understand what is scheduled and expecting to pass through quality control tunnel each day
- Carry out final inspections and confirm items on service orders, detailing standards
- Report and liaise with relevant stakeholders / business units regarding standards of items
- Assist in fitting key tags, vehicle registrations, relevant stickers and relevant vehicle documents such as road side assistance forms, etc to match with the correct vehicle ID
- Assist in driving and parking vehicles in despatch or staging area
- Record and report on the job sheets any damage and defective work to the Workshop Team and Managers
- Communicate any risk, vehicle & parts delay identified in quality control process to the relevant Workshop team, Supervisor and Managers
- Ensure quality control processes are performed systematically and correctly per defined standards
- To ensure your success you will demonstrate : _
- Diagnostic experience
- Experience working within a team environment
- Demonstrated customer service ability with strong communication skills
- Computer literacy - Microsoft office and internal systems - SAP (advantageous)
- Self motivated and able to undertake work with a minimum of supervision
- Good Knowledge of the automotive products
- Automotive trade technician qualification
- Current Drivers licence
