The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our dynamic and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centered care to patients and their families, supporting them through the emotional and practical challenges associated with illness, injury, and hospitalisation.

The successful candidate will bring experience in mental health settings, along with a strong commitment to collaborative practice and continuous improvement in patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities : Deliver psychosocial support to clients experiencing mental health challengesCollaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environmentContribute to care planning, advocacy, group facilitation, and recovery-oriented practicesCandidate Criteria : Bachelor of Social Work (or equivalent)Eligible for full membership of Australian Association of Social WorkersDemonstrated ability to utilise a variety of social work interventionsExperience in medical social work practiceKnowledge of community resources and services to meet patient needsEffective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and independentlyWillingness to uphold Ramsay's core valuesExperience in Rehabilitation and / or Mental Health (highly desirable)Essential Criteria : Tertiary qualification in Social WorkEligibility for membership with the AASW (or relevant registration body)Experience in mental health settingsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsRemuneration : Hourly rate of $40.75 - $52.14 plus casual loading and superannuation, based on experience and qualifications. Penalties or allowances are excluded.
